Privacy policy

This website sets no cookies, loads no fonts from third-party servers and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. That is why there is no cookie banner here. This is a courtesy translation; the German version is the authoritative one.

1. Controller

The controller for data processing on this website (www.paraflow.art) is:

Björn Jelinek (PARAFLOW)
Hauptstrasse 21, 7331 Weppersdorf, Austria
Email: [email protected]

2. General

We process your data solely on the basis of the applicable law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Austrian Data Protection Act and the Austrian Telecommunications Act.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Technically necessary access data is processed: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser and operating system.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and fast delivery of the website under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and EU Standard Contractual Clauses are in place in addition.

4. Cookies and fonts

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising services. The typefaces are served by this website itself; there is no connection to Google Fonts or any other external font service.

5. Enquiry form

If you use our enquiry form we process the data you enter (name, email address, company where given, and what you tell us about your request) in order to deal with your enquiry and to contact you.

Form data is received by our own endpoint and delivered as email through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 106 boulevard Haussmann, 75008 Paris, France). Brevo processes the data as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR; a data processing agreement is in place and processing takes place within the European Union.

If you choose a preferred time for the free first call, your name, email address, topic, message and the chosen time go instead to our own server running n8n, hosted by netcup GmbH (Emmy-Noether-Strasse 10, 76131 Karlsruhe, Germany). As a processor under Art. 28 GDPR, netcup processes the data on our behalf; a data processing agreement is in place. The server reads the free times from our Google Calendar and sends us your request by email through Gmail; if that fails, the request is delivered through Brevo as described above. Only after we confirm does it create an event with a Google Meet link in Google Calendar, and Google sends you the invitation; if we decline, you receive an email from our Gmail account. Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Meet are provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland); data may be transferred to the USA in the process. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The legal basis is the taking of steps prior to entering into a contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligation applies.

6. Contact by email

If you contact us by email we store your details (email address, name and the content of the message) in order to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. We do not pass this data on without your consent.

7. External links

This website contains only plain links to external services — no embedded content and no plugins. No data is transmitted to any provider until you click such a link. From that point their own privacy terms apply.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as it is needed for the purposes stated or as required by statutory retention obligations, for instance under the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Any consent given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. To exercise these rights please write to [email protected].

If you believe the processing of your data infringes data protection law you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
